There are few things in life that make me as angry as those who take advantage of the weak or the dead.

Today I’m angry.

Let me know if this Associated Press report makes you angry as well.

Police say two western Ohio health center employees used information from dead patients to apply for about $7,000 in online loans.

Police say Linda McDermott-Dorsey and Lisa Kidd, both of Trotwood, were indicted Wednesday on identity theft and money laundering charges. They worked at Samaritan North Health Center, an outpatient facility.

Englewood Police Sgt. Mike Lang says the women checked newspaper obituaries and used the hospital computer system to gather the personal information of 24 people over about five weeks in May and June 2007.

If the allegations in this indictment hold up, Ms. McDermott-Dorsey and Ms. Kidd are despicable and deserve to be punsihed to the full extent of the law.
